Music

In the area of music, Figure 8 Productions acts as a hub, bringing together DJs and original artists, in order to spotlight independent talent. Integrating the work of these artists into our films is the ultimate goal. BuBu will be featured in the documentary "Speed Tribes" and Ultraverse will provide collaboration with sound design. Below are some examples of work by musical artists and DJs associated with our productions. If you are interested in these artists contact Figure 8 Productions by email: info@figure8productions.com.

BuBu (Nagoya, Japan)

This duo is more than just music, it's an experience! Combining the sound of the shamisen (a traditional Japanese string instrument akin to a banjo or a sitar) with hard hitting Techno and Trance. BuBu still performs live in the streets of Nagoya and delights club-goers with their unique blend of traditional Japan and modern electronic culture.
