Jamie Morris
Producer /Director - Founder, Figure 8 Productions.

Raised in the U.S and Australia from Canadian stock, Jamie truly values internationalism and variety in peoples' backgrounds. He earned his B.S in Biology/Theatre from the University of California, Riverside where he studied Acting, Directing and production. While producing theatre in Riverside and working on "Babylon 5" he began filming Rave parties which eventually led to the docu-comedy "How Do You Rave?" and the formation of Figure 8 Productions. In a fit of ennui he moved to Japan which would lead to filming of the Bosozoku and a deep interest in Japanese fringe groups. He wrote, produced and directed "GA" (Picture) while gathering experience working on Japanese productions in every capacity over three years. He is currently nearing post-production for "Bosozoku" and in production of "Uyoku: Japan's Right Wing" in Tokyo. His goal for Figure 8 is to use Film as a means for international and interdisciplinary collaboration in the arts.

J-M Moorghen
Public Relations

Born in South London, raised in the UK, Belgium, and France, JM has always had a taste for adventure. He graduated with a BA and a Masters in Europe and at the age of 26 decided to see more of the world and set sail for Japan, where he lived for 3 years.; During this time, he not only gained valuable insights into Japanese business culture, but also played as a resident DJ in Nagoya in his spare time, exploring subcultures and the hidden social groups of Japan. This led, of course, to an encounter with Karl Taro Greenfeld's seminal novel, "Speed tribes" the bosozoku and other folk demons. He then moved to his new wife's native Southern CA. There he began collaborating with Figure 8 and Jamie Morris before moving to Downtown Los Angeles, where he currently works for a humanitarian organization. While "Bosozoku" has entered the production phase in Japan, JM is the contact person in the US for all public relations.
